Frontlines Pre-Launch Rich Media Campaign

THQ contacted us in order to create rich media banners promoting their hot new first-person shooter for the year. The pre-launch campaign had to be a teaser and it needed to be delivered quickly. Pretty much the only asset we had to work with was the teaser trailer for the game. I created a simple “choose your own adventure” game by segmenting the video at a crucial point, allowing users to interact with the banner and see real video based on the results of their decisions. The result was a rich media banner that performed extraordinarily well: it had a click through rate that was 20% higher than the industry standard.
