Frontlines Post-Launch Rich Media Campaign

PROJECT: Rich Media Banner Campaign
After presenting gamers with an engaging and successful teaser campaign, we now wanted a way to allow users to explore the game in much more depth. To do this, we created a rich media banner ad which, one expanded, gave users access to a huge amount of in-game content. I designed a banner ad which echoed the in-game interface, exposing users to the concept of having a front line of battle while providing an elegant metaphor through which the users get exposed to every aspect of the game. By exploring different “objectives”, users can view pictures of all the different unit types they can play with videos for each one.
The results: over 2 million seconds of user interaction time for the campaign. Users were hooked!
